About the Project
Tomorrow Island was a visual design focusing on the global issue of climate change. I categorized and visualized the Climate Change 2014 Synthesis Report into a 12-page poster. The book aims to make academic environmental issues more understandable and acceptable for general people. Based on research and analysis skills, I  combined with visual communication and information dissemination, so the jerky and complicated scientific texts were transformed into visual elements that the general people could easily understand and read.
In terms of design topics, "Tomorrow Island" has its own image carrier. Small plots of land surrounded by water are defined as islands. If from a pessimistic perspective, the island could be seen as closing to extinction and full of loneliness, but from the optimistic side , it meant hope and birth. This is similar to the current study of the impact of climate change on the future of humankind. How human beings act, to a great extent, will determine what kind of scene humankind will see tomorrow. It is of great realistic and social significance to select the island and tomorrow as the carrier of intention and to make people understand the situation more intuitively and profoundly through the way of visual communication. It is of great realistic and social significance to call for and alert people to pay attention to and act on climate change.
